At NORGÄTE, certifications are not a goal in themselves, but a tool for transparency and accountability.
We work with certified materials, responsible processes, and recognized industry standards where they add real value to our products, our partners, and our supply chain.
Our Sourcing Structure — Peru
NORGÄTE operates through a single, integrated sourcing and production structure led by Peruvian Traditions S.A.C., our founding company and production partner in Peru.
This structure allows us to maintain direct oversight of material selection, production processes, and working conditions across every stage of our garments, ensuring consistency, traceability, and responsible decision-making.
Ethical Production & Fair Trade
Fair Trade Principles. Our garments are produced in collaboration with more than 25 specialized workshops, working according to Fair Trade principles.
These partnerships support safe working environments, fair compensation, and long-term collaboration with skilled artisans.

Industry Commitments & Transparency
Fashion Revolution
An international movement advocating for transparency, ethical practices, and accountability within the fashion industry. Our commitment includes the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) a voluntary sustainability reporting framework supporting structured disclosure of environmental, social, and governance practices.

Our partners are carefully chosen for their adherence to the highest ethical and sustainable standards. The products we offer are crafted with skill and dedication by some of Peru’s finest artisans. Our alpaca wool carries the hang tag of the International Alpaca Association ensuring the high quelity of its fiber. These labels stand as symbols of the utmost quality and exceptional durability.
We care about you, the environment, our team, the artisans who knit and sew for us, and the impact our clothing has on the world. Driven by transparency and sustainability, we proudly hold Fair Trade certification, ensuring our workshops are safe, free from discrimination, and child labor. These workshops receive fair wages, benefits, and educational support. We focus on understanding and supporting each workshop, helping them grow and improve their production, ultimately increasing their income. Our approach combines knowledge, compassion, and thoughtful decision-making.
